Summary: |
Working directly with the Department Director, the Deputy Director, Strategy and Programs directs and guides the Department’s development-focused responsibilities, including planning, housing development, real estate investment and development, business development and other related activities and strategies key to the County’s growth. The Deputy Director, Strategy and Programs, provides highly responsible and complex operational and leadership support to the Department Director including but not limited to program design and evaluation, strategic planning, community planning, real estate investment strategy, business attraction and retention, and economic policy and data analysis. This is an executive-level position, and the incumbent will perform a full range of duties as new challenges and opportunities arise within a dynamic environment.
