Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent AND five (5) years of customer service, historical education, historical preservation, or related experience to include two (2) years of management experience in a similar setting.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
Desirable requirements include:
- Identifying items in need of restoration or preservation.
- Experience in researching funding streams to identify new opportunities and make recommendations to apply for grants to support restoration and preservation efforts.
- Understanding grant applications.

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Directors of Parks, this position will be responsible for the following tasks at the Hartwood Mansion and surrounding grounds: scheduling staff and volunteers, scheduling tours, special events, programming, overseeing all revenue associated with the Mansion, and the continuous inventory of assets. The incumbent position will also work with the Department of Marketing and Special Events to ensure necessary coordination with weddings and wedding tours. This position will work with the Recreation Program Coordinator and Marketing team to ensure events are properly highlighted and brochures are effective. This position will assist the Parks Department with other necessary tasks as designated.

The Parks system encompasses a variety of activities and amenities including three wave pools, one swimming pool, ski slopes, snow tubing, two ice rinks, and over 400 rental facilities. Duties:
- Operates the daily operations of the mansion facility, including but not limited to long-term planning, policies, staff schedules, public outreach and engagement.
- Recruits new volunteers to meet demands of the park and mansion.
- Communicates to the public and other employees professionally via email, phone and GovQA.
- Manages all programming, events, and tours happening on park property, including internal and external groups.
- Collaborates with Special Events and Venue Rentals teams to schedule and implement special events and weddings.
- Assists with Sculpture Garden tours and programming.
- Assists with potential Hartwood Acres rentals and bookings.
- Completes daily deposits of revenue generated.
- Performs continuous and annual inventory of assets within Mansion.
- Analyzes funding streams to identify new opportunities and make recommendations to apply for grants to support restoration and preservation efforts.
- Assists Parks Grant Manager with preparing grant applications.
- Works with superiors and other Departments to resolve any possible conflicts prior to events.
- Works with the Marketing team and Recreation Program Coordinator to ensure events, programs, and facilities are properly advertised.
- Assists with the tracking of attendance for mansion programs and events.
- Advises maintenance personnel of any issues that arise at the Mansion or surrounding grounds.
- Performs other related duties as required or requested.
