Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or its equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years work experience in OPA or in the field of appraisal.
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be substituted.
- The designation of Certified Pennsylvania Evaluator (CPE) and one (1) year prior quality assurance experience are preferred.

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining quality assurance and control by ensuring the efficient completion of various phases of operations within the Office of Property Assessments (OPA).
The Office of Property Assessments (OPA) produces a fair, accurate and timely assessment roll, doing so in a uniform manner consistent with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) while emphasizing outstanding customer service and an efficient use of resources. The Office of Property Assessments also maintains ownership and assessment records for parcels within Allegheny County with property owners, municipalities and school districts concerning assessment matters.
Overview:
Duties:
- Performs quality assurance of all operational aspects of OPA work processes, which include ensuring the efficient completed work product of all aspects of the Assessment Office.
- Demonstrates responsibility for maintaining reports and all corresponding status checks.
- Suggests recommendations of appropriate changes or actions to management.
- Reviews processes and documents periodically to ensure compliance.
- Trains staff on-site and off-site as assigned.
- Works closely with management and provides support by conducting internal audits, writing summary reports, performing reviews and reconciliations, research and troubleshooting, and interacting with the public as needed.
- Participates in special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
